Jake Basquiat​

Raised in New Orleans Jake Basquiat is a Music Producer and Performer known for his unique blend of Hip Hop drums and electronic ethereal synths. His quick rise to notoriety in New Orleans began with the creation of a recording studio and artist residency (Materialinstitute.org) funded by The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) from Tasmania Australia. 

There he produced countless albums for local artists, and his music has been featured on the BBC Radio 4 Documentary “Art of Now” “A New School for New Orleans” Hosted by Clara Amfo. Jake continues to push the boundaries of music and art as a Resident DJ of Bass Church, an interactive event curator, and producing music for singer songwriters from around the country.
